Burberry Weekend for Men is a 1997 citrus fougere EDT by perfumer Michel Almairac — the masculine counterpart to Weekend for Women, sharing the same relaxed British country spirit but built around a bright, invigorating citrus opening rather than a floral one. The opening is immediately fresh and energizing: lemon, grapefruit, bergamot, mandarin orange, and a splash of melon arrive together in a juicy, slightly tart citrus burst that's casual and confident without being loud. The heart develops through ivy, oakmoss, and sandalwood — a green, slightly earthy trio that grounds the bright opening with a cool, outdoorsy woodiness. The base of honey, musk, and amber closes with a warm, lightly gourmand sweetness that softens everything into a clean, comfortable drydown. 4–6 hours, moderate projection. Best in spring and summer — the fragrance equivalent of a Saturday morning with nowhere to be.
Bvlgari Man in Black is a 2014 oriental floral EDP by master perfumer Alberto Morillas — inspired by the myth of Vulcan, god of the earth, and one of the most complimented mainstream men's fragrances of the decade. The opening is bold and immediately commanding: rum, spices, and tobacco arrive with a dark, slightly sweet warmth that sets a charismatic, confident tone from the very first spray. The heart is where Man in Black earns its legendary status — leather, iris, and tuberose create a rich, dark, slightly floral-oriental core that's simultaneously masculine and sensual, with the tuberose playing against type in a way that reviewers consistently describe as magnetically attractive. The base of tonka bean, guaiac wood, and benzoin closes warm, resinous, and deeply oriental — building rather than fading, staying strong well into the following day. 8–12 hours, strong projection. Best in fall and winter — a guaranteed compliment magnet.
Calvin Klein Eternity Air is a 2018 aromatic fougère EDT — an airy, nature-inspired take on the classic Eternity DNA, celebrating the vibrancy and clarity of bright blue skies. It opens with sea notes, ozonic notes, juniper berries, and mandarin orange — a cool, clean, slightly aquatic burst that's immediately fresh and energizing, the ozonic notes adding a genuine "fresh air" quality that gives this EDT its distinctive, transparent character. The heart of lavender, green apple, and violet leaf adds a soft, slightly fruity aromatic depth — the green apple keeping things crisp and modern while the lavender grounds everything in classic fougère masculinity. The base of seaweed, ambergris, and patchouli closes cool, slightly earthy, and skin-close — an understated marine warmth that makes this ideal for the man who wants to smell clean and effortless rather than noticed. Reviewers describe it as airy, watery, and refreshing. 3–5 hours, soft projection. Best in spring and summer — subtle, clean, and built for the man who lets his presence do the talking.
From Calvin Klein, Eternity Reflections is a 2023 aromatic fougère EDT by perfumers Carlos Viñals and Alienor Massenet — a summer-inspired flanker in the Eternity line built around an unexpected mint chocolate and absinthe signature that immediately sets it apart from the classic Eternity formula. The top opens with a sharp, herbal blast of absinthe — green, slightly bitter, and instantly bracing in a way that reads fresh and bold rather than heavy. The heart pivots to a genuinely surprising chocolate accord — rich, slightly sweet, and addictive against the cool absinthe backdrop. Oakmoss and sandalwood anchor the base in a clean, earthy, woody finish that's grounded in Eternity's signature mossy DNA without going old-fashioned. The combination of green absinthe and chocolate makes Reflections one of the more creatively interesting CK releases in years. 3–5 hours, soft-to-moderate projection. Best in spring and summer — a distinctive, easy-wearing EDT that brings something genuinely different to the Eternity family.
Calvin Klein Euphoria for Men is a 2006 woody spicy EDT — bold, magnetic, and irresistibly confident, designed for the modern man who knows how to leave a lasting impression. It opens with ginger, pepper, raindrop accord, and sudachi — a fresh, slightly icy spice burst where the sudachi adds a distinctly Japanese citrus tartness and the raindrop accord threads a cool, ozonic freshness through the ginger-pepper heat, making the opening feel genuinely modern and distinctive. The heart of black basil, sage, and cedar leaf provides depth and sophistication — aromatic, slightly herbal, and unmistakably masculine, the black basil in particular adding a cool, slightly anise-like quality that gives Euphoria Men its most memorable mid-stage. The base of amber, suede, Brazilian redwood, and patchouli delivers a warm, sensual finish — the suede adding a smooth, skin-like softness while the Brazilian redwood and patchouli thread an earthy, masculine richness that keeps this one going well into the evening. Perfect for both day and night. 6–8 hours, moderate projection. Best year-round — dark, magnetic, and built to leave an impression.
Carolina Herrera 212 Heroes Forever Young is a 2021 aromatic fruity EDT by perfumers Carlos Benaïm, Domitille Michalon Bertier, and Juliette Karagueuzoglou — housed in a striking skateboard-shaped bottle and built around a fresh, youthful DNA that reviewers consistently call one of the more interesting mainstream men's releases of its year. The opening is bright and immediately distinctive: pear, ginger, and cannabis — a herbal, lemon-tinged green note rather than anything smoky — arrive together with a fresh, slightly tart fruitiness that's energetic and alive. The heart is anchored by madagascar geranium and sage — an herbal-floral pairing that's cool and slightly aromatic, keeping the fragrance from going too sweet. The base of musk, leather, and woodsy notes closes with a dry, skin-close warmth that wears quietly. 5–7 hours, soft-to-moderate projection. Best in spring and fall — fresh, confident, and built for the generation that doesn't follow rules..
Carolina Herrera 212 Men NYC is a 1999 fresh aquatic EDT by perfumers Alberto Morillas, Rosendo Mateu, and Ann Gottlieb — one of the most enduring masculines in the Carolina Herrera catalog, nearly 25 years on the market and still a reliable everyday go-to that consistently earns its place in a collection. The opening is bright and clean: grapefruit, ginger, and mandarin arrive with a crisp, citrusy sharpness that's energizing without being loud. The heart is defined by aquatic notes — cool, slightly watery freshness that became the signature of the fragrance and still holds up as a distinctive character in a market that's moved away from this style. The base of sandalwood, guaiac wood, and musk closes warm, subtly woody, and skin-close — giving this fresh EDT a staying power that surprises most first-time wearers. 5–7 hours, moderate projection. Best in spring and summer — a dependable classic that never goes out of rotation.
Carolina Herrera 212 Sexy Men is a 2006 oriental fougere EDT by perfumers Alberto Morillas and Rosendo Mateu — a fragrance that earned a devoted following for its warm, spicy-sweet character and the kind of effortless masculinity that makes it work in almost any setting. The opening is fresh and citrusy: mandarin orange, bergamot, and green notes land together with a clean, slightly juicy brightness that sets up the warmer notes to come. The heart shifts into pepper, cardamom, and florals — a spicy-aromatic combo that adds depth and a dry, slightly herbal warmth that keeps the fragrance interesting as it develops. The base of vanilla, guaiac wood, sandalwood, amber, and musk closes with a rich, smooth, vanillic woodiness that reviewers consistently describe as addictive — warm without being heavy, sweet without being feminine. 7–9 hours, moderate-to-strong projection. Best in fall and winter — a crowd-pleaser that rarely gets the credit it deserves..
Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Black is a 2017 aromatic fougere EDP by perfumers Carlos Benaïm and Anne Flipo — the darker, more rebellious entry in the 212 VIP lineup, built around an absinthe-anise-lavender accord that's genuinely distinctive for a mainstream designer release. The opening is bold and immediately polarizing in the best way: absinthe, anise, and fennel arrive together with a sharp, herbal, slightly medicinal bitterness that smells like nothing else at the department store counter. The heart is a single note of lavender — but used here in the darkest, most brooding way possible, adding an aromatic coolness that bridges the sharp opening and the warmer base. The base of black vanilla husk and musk closes with a warm, slightly smoky sweetness that smooths out all the sharpness into something genuinely addictive. 7–9 hours, moderate projection. Best in fall and winter — the 212 VIP line at its most daring.
Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Black Elixir is a 2025 oriental fougere EDP — a darker, more concentrated evolution of the 212 VIP Black line, stripped down to three "blackened" notes that create something genuinely bold and gourmand-adjacent. The opening is a deep, almost velvety lavender — not the standard fresh lavender you'd find in a lighter cologne, but a richer, darker interpretation that immediately signals this is a nighttime fragrance built for impact. The heart is anchored by black licorice — thick, sweetly bitter, and impossible to ignore, landing somewhere between dark candy and brooding masculinity in a way that polarizes people and earns compliments in equal measure. The base settles onto vanilla — deep, warm, and creamy in a way that makes the whole composition feel luxurious and skin-close once it fully settles. 8–10 hours, moderate-to-strong projection. Best in fall and winter — not subtle, but genuinely unforgettable.
Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Black Smiley is a 2022 aromatic EDP by perfumers Juliette Karagueuzoglou and Carlos Benaïm — a limited edition celebration of the iconic Smiley brand, and a playful, confident twist on the original 212 VIP Black that brings pure energy to every spray. It opens with blood orange, Tunisian neroli, and ginger — a vibrant, spiced citrus burst that hits with immediate confidence, the blood orange adding a dark, juicy richness while the ginger and neroli keep things sharp and inviting. The heart of Madagascar pepper, sesame, and lavender extract is the most unexpected phase — the sesame threading a warm, slightly nutty quality through the pepper and lavender in a combination that reviewers describe as intriguing and genuinely addictive. The base of vanilla bean, skin accord, and sweet almond closes creamy, warm, and skin-close — a smooth, lingering sweetness that makes you want to wear it again immediately. 7–9 hours, moderate-to-strong projection. Best in fall and winter — find your happy place and wear it well.
Carolina Herrera 212 VIP Men is a 2011 oriental woody EDT by perfumers Emilie Coppermann and Lucas Sieuzac — the masculine counterpart to the iconic 212 VIP women's fragrance, built for the same exclusive NYC nightlife energy but taken in a bolder direction led by a vodka-and-gin heart that makes this one of the most distinctive men's EDTs in the collection. The opening is immediately energetic: passionfruit, lime, pepper, and ginger arrive in a juicy, spicy-citrusy combination that's bright and confident without going generic. The heart is where 212 VIP Men earns its identity — vodka, gin, mint, and spices create an intoxicating boozy-fresh accord that's as bold as it sounds, with mint keeping things fresh rather than overwhelming. The base of amber, leather, and woodsy notes closes with a warm, masculine depth. 7–9 hours, moderate-to-strong projection. Best in fall and winter — for the man who's definitely on the list.
Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Cobalt Absolute is a 2025 woody aromatic EDP — darker, smokier, and considerably more commanding than the original Cobalt, built for the man who wants to take things further. It opens with black cardamom, bergamot, and birch — a bold, slightly smoky spice burst where the black cardamom adds a deep, almost medicinal warmth and the birch threads a cool, slightly tarry sharpness through the bergamot that makes the opening feel genuinely unlike anything else in the Bad Boy lineup. The heart of labdanum, vetiver, and suede deepens into something resinous and animalic — the labdanum adding a warm, ambery stickiness while the suede and vetiver give the mid-stage a dry, leathery masculinity that reviewers describe as confidently seductive. The base of grey amber, Iso E Super, and musk closes warm, woody, and powerfully long-wearing — the Iso E Super adding a distinctive cedarwood-like warmth that gives Cobalt Absolute its skin-close, almost addictive trail. Smokier and more complex than the original — built for the man who's already worn the Cobalt and wants to go deeper. 7–9 hours, moderate projection. Best in fall and winter — Bad Boy, at his most absolute.
Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Dazzling Garden is a 2023 oriental woody EDT — a limited edition of the iconic Bad Boy line in a collector's bottle that brings a fresh, garden-inspired energy to the signature cacao-and-pepper DNA. The opening is crisp and citrusy: white pepper and grapefruit arrive together with a bright, slightly tart freshness that has noticeably more lift than the standard Bad Boy opening. The heart shifts into clary sage and vetiver — clary sage adding a herbal, slightly lavender-adjacent earthiness, and vetiver threading a cool, rooty depth through the middle that gives the composition a genuinely garden-like character — grounded and green. The base of cacao and tonka bean closes with the warm, chocolatey-sweet signature that made the Bad Boy line so popular — creamy, addictive, and unmistakably Carolina Herrera. 5–7 hours, moderate projection. Best in spring and fall — fresh on top, rich underneath, instantly recognizable as Bad Boy.
Carolina Herrera Bad Boy is a 2019 oriental spicy EDT by perfumers Quentin Bisch and Louise Turner — the fragrance that launched one of the most successful men's lines in Carolina Herrera's history, and a masterclass in how to make a cocoa note work in a masculine context without going gourmand. The opening hits with white pepper, pink pepper, and bergamot — a spicy, citrusy combo that's energetic and clean without going aquatic or safe, and sets up the darker character that follows perfectly. The heart is where Bad Boy makes its name: a rich, slightly balsamic darkness anchored by carob and woody notes that reviewers describe as simultaneously fresh and moody. The base of cacao, vetiver, and cashmeran closes warm, creamy-woody, and genuinely addictive — dark chocolate-adjacent sweetness grounded by earthy vetiver. 6–8 hours, moderate-to-strong projection. Best year-round — versatile enough for the office, interesting enough to earn compliments everywhere else.
Carolina Herrera Bad Boy Le Parfum is a 2021 leather EDP by perfumers Fanny Bal, Bruno Jovanovic, and Nicolas Beaulieu — a uniquely daring release built around a cannabis leaf note that reads herbal and green rather than smoky, paired with leather and vetiver for something dark, complex, and unlike anything else in the Bad Boy line. The opening lands immediately: cannabis leaf and grapefruit together deliver a green, slightly citrusy, almost earthy freshness that's unlike any standard masculine opener. The heart grounds things with black pepper and geranium — dry spice and herbal-green earthiness that bridge the unusual opening to the warmer base below. Vetiver and leather close rich, earthy, and unmistakably masculine — loud and projecting for the first hour or two before settling into something deeply skin-close and long-lasting. 8–12 hours, moderate-to-strong projection. Best in fall and winter — not for everyone, but completely unforgettable on the right person..
From Carolina Herrera, Chic is a 2003 woody spicy EDT by perfumers Carlos Benaïm, Rosendo Mateu, and Jean-Marc Chaillan — a sleek, crowd-pleasing men's fragrance that punches well above its price and consistently turns heads without trying too hard. The top opens with a surprisingly fun combo of juicy watermelon, cardamom, lemon, mandarin, and bergamot — fresh and fruity in a way that's distinctly different from the standard citrus-heavy men's EDT formula. The heart spices things up with black pepper and cinnamon — warm, slightly sharp, and undeniably masculine without going overpowering. Sandalwood, tonka bean, musk, amber, and cedar anchor the dry-down in a smooth, warm, woody base that lingers comfortably for hours. Reviewers consistently describe it as a high-compliment, versatile everyday scent that's especially strong for the price. 5–7 hours, moderate projection. Best in spring and fall — a well-rounded, no-brainer men's EDT that earns its spot in any rotation.
Carolina Herrera Herrera for Men is a 1991 woody floral musk EDT by perfumers Rosendo Mateu and Carlos Benaïm — the brand's first men's fragrance, and one that remains a benchmark for refined, classic masculinity over thirty years later. It opens with lemon, lavender, rosemary, and neroli — a crisp, aromatic citrus burst that's immediately clean and sophisticated, the rosemary adding a cool, slightly medicinal herbal quality that gives the opening its distinctive character. The heart of cloves, geranium, and clover is where Herrera earns its reputation — warm, spiced, and gently floral, the cloves threading a dry, exotic warmth through the geranium that gives this fragrance its confident, timeless masculinity. The base of tobacco, sandalwood, and ambergris closes warm, slightly smoky, and beautifully long-wearing — a classic masculine foundation that's been pulling compliments since the early nineties without missing a step. 6–8 hours, moderate projection. Best year-round — a men's fragrance masterclass from 1991 that still hasn't been bettered.
Carolina Herrera CH Men Pasión is a 2023 oriental woody EDP by perfumers Antoine Maisondieu and Christophe Raynaud — centered on powdery iris and warm amber woods, with a refined character that holds its own against some of the best iris EDPs on the market. The opening is distinctive from the first spray: olibanum (frankincense), tunisian neroli, and pink pepper deliver a smoky, herbal, slightly citrusy character that's genuinely unlike standard masculine openings — interesting without being loud. The heart is all about iris — powdery, slightly rooty, and beautifully rendered — with myrrh adding balsamic depth and texas cedar threading dry woodiness throughout. The base of australian sandalwood, bourbon vanilla, tonka bean, and amberwood closes smooth, creamy, and skin-close, building warmth as the day goes on. 5–7 hours, moderate projection. Best in fall and winter — a sophisticated iris EDP that rewards anyone patient enough to discover it.

The base of cedarwood and amber closes warm, woody, and skin-close — a clean, comfortable finish that wears throughout the day without overstaying its welcome. Reviewers frequently compare it to Bvlgari Aqua Pour Homme and Versace Pour Homme — strong company for a wallet-friendly EDT. 4–6 hours, soft-to-moderate projection. Absolutely Perfect
I owned a bottle of Burberry Brit in the past more less 10-12 years ago. I had concerns about its authenticity as the plaid design on the bottle seemed slightly altered, and they have now included "for her" at the end of the name. However, the scent remains reminiscent of what I remember! If anyone is familiar with the previous version of the bottle and is seeking a replacement, they will be pleased with this one.

Smells Amazing
I purchased this without knowing much about it, and I absolutely adore it! It has a subtle sweetness, a hint of musk, and a touch of powderiness, creating a delightful feminine fragrance. The packaging and bottle are also quite beautiful. I'm head over heels in love with it! <3
